Plasma cables weigh about 1/7 of what a steel cable with the same characteristics would weigh. They are made of Dyneema SK-75 synthetic fiber, this material prevents them from twisting or fraying.
It also minimizes the "whiplash" effect upon breakage, reducing the risk of personal injury. It is UV resistant and has a special coating to prevent it from slipping on the drum.
The PX series guarantee extra resistance to abrasion and UV rays. Thanks to its protective cover, sand is prevented from entering, in addition to increasing its resistance against scratches and cuts.
