This is a timing belt from the Dayco brand.
It keeps the camshaft and injection pump in time with the crankshaft, and is usually changed at the recommended service interval or whenever it shows cracks, wear or oil contamination, to avoid engine damage.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender (2.5 diesel, 2.5 turbo diesel) and Series III/Santana (2.5 diesel).
