This is a main brake master cylinder from the TRW brand.
It converts the force on the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure for the brake circuits, and is usually changed when it leaks, the pedal sinks slowly or braking performance becomes inconsistent.
Compatible with Land Rover Discovery 1 (V8, 2.0 turbo petrol, 200 TDI) and Range Rover Classic (V8, 200 TDI, VM diesel).
