This is a brake vacuum pump for the 300 TDI engine, from the Allmakes 4x4 brand, supplied without gasket.
It creates the vacuum needed by the brake servo, and is usually replaced when the brake pedal becomes hard or the pump leaks oil.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender (300 TDI), Discovery 1 (300 TDI) and Range Rover Classic (300 TDI).
