This is a gearbox front cover oil seal for the primary shaft, from the Corteco brand.
It seals the primary shaft where it leaves the gearbox front cover to keep the oil in, and is usually replaced when oil leaks towards the clutch housing or during a gearbox overhaul.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1, Discovery 2 (TD5) and Range Rover Classic.
