This is the front left-hand height sensor, made by Allmakes 4x4. It measures the ride height at that corner so that the air suspension can adjust the level of the vehicle. It is usually replaced when it fails, gives incorrect readings, or when its linkage is broken, causing suspension faults or warnings.
