This is a front shock absorber, 54 mm diameter, made by Bearmach. It damps the movement of the front suspension, keeping the tyres in contact with the road. It is usually replaced when it leaks oil, when the vehicle bounces or rolls excessively, or when it is worn.
Compatible with Land Rover Series III (Santana) 2.25, 2.5 diesel, 2.6 and 3.5 V8.
