This is a track rod ball joint with left-hand thread and grease nipple, from the Allmakes 4x4 brand.
It links the steering track rod to the steering arm, and is usually replaced when it has play, the rubber boot is split or the steering feels loose.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender, including Puma, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic.
