This is a synchro detent spring from the AG Parts 4x4 brand.
It holds the synchroniser assembly in position so that gears engage cleanly, and is usually changed during a gearbox overhaul or when gears jump out or selection becomes imprecise.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender (200/300 TDI), Discovery 1 (200/300 TDI), Series III/Santana and Range Rover Classic (200/300 TDI).
