This is the EGR valve for 300 TDI engines without EDC, made by SKV. It recirculates part of the exhaust gases into the intake to reduce emissions. It is usually replaced when it sticks, is clogged with soot or causes poor running.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic 300 TDI.
