This is a glow plug, made by Bosch. It heats the combustion chamber to help the diesel engine start from cold and is usually replaced when it has failed, causing hard cold starts, rough running or white smoke.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic 200 TDI and 300 TDI.
