This is the hydraulic tappet for the V8 engine, made by AG Parts 4x4. It transmits the camshaft movement to the valve train and is usually replaced when it is worn or makes a ticking noise, or during an engine overhaul.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and 2 and Series III, Range Rover Classic and P38 V8.
