This is an ignition steering column lock assembly from the Lucas brand.
It houses the ignition switch and locks the steering when the key is removed, and is usually replaced when the key turns with difficulty, the lock jams or the ignition fails to switch on.
Compatible with Land Rover Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic.
