This is a gearbox countershaft nut from the Allmakes 4x4 brand.
It retains the gear and bearing assembly on the end of the shaft, and is usually renewed during a gearbox rebuild or when its thread is damaged.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender (300 TDI), Discovery 1 (300 TDI), Discovery 2, Range Rover Classic (300 TDI) and Range Rover P38.
