This is a gearbox oil pump for the transmission, from the Allmakes 4x4 brand.
It circulates oil inside the gearbox to lubricate the shafts, gears and bearings, and is usually replaced when it is worn or damaged, or during a gearbox rebuild.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender (300 TDI), Discovery 1 (300 TDI), Discovery 2 (TD5), Range Rover Classic (300 TDI) and Range Rover P38 (2.5 diesel).
