This is the left oxygen sensor (lambda probe), made by Eurospare. It measures the oxygen in the exhaust gases so the engine control unit can adjust the air-fuel mixture. It is usually replaced when it fails, causing a warning light, higher consumption or emission faults.
Compatible with Land Rover Discovery 4 and Range Rover Sport L320 5.0 V8 petrol.
