This is the pre-catalyst oxygen sensor, made by Allmakes 4x4. It measures the oxygen content of the exhaust gases before the catalytic converter and sends the signal to the engine control unit to adjust the mixture. It is usually replaced when it fails, causing an engine warning light.
Compatible with Land Rover Freelander 1 1.8 petrol.
