This is the Profender Dakar rear shock absorber with remote reservoir (+2"), made by Profender. It is an adjustable monotube shock absorber with a separate nitrogen reservoir and spring preload adjustment. It is usually fitted when the original shock absorbers are worn or the suspension is upgraded or raised.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender (including Puma), Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic.
