Steering Column - Lower Section - Left-Hand Drive - AG PARTS
This AG PARTS lower steering column section is the articulated shaft engineered to connect the upper steering column to the steering rack on left-hand-drive vehicles. Manufactured from high-tensile machined steel, it integrates precision universal joints that deliver smooth, bind-free rotational transfer while accommodating structural deflection between the passenger compartment and chassis. Over time and extensive road use, the needle bearings within the universal joints deteriorate due to moisture ingress or grease loss, resulting in steering wheel play, knocking noises when turning, or excessive resistance and stiffness during maneuvers. Installing this replacement assembly restores original torsional stiffness, eliminating unwanted slack and ensuring direct, responsive, and safe steering control across all operating conditions.
