This is a fuel shut-off solenoid for the injection pump, from the Allmakes 4x4 brand.
It opens the fuel supply in the injection pump when the ignition is switched on and cuts it to stop the engine, and is usually replaced when the engine will not start or will not stop.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender (200/300 TDI), Discovery 1 (200/300 TDI) and Range Rover Classic (200/300 TDI).
