This is a genuine Land Rover intermediate synchro ring for the gearbox. The synchro ring matches the speed of the gear to the shaft so that the gear engages smoothly. It is usually replaced when gear changes become crunchy or difficult, or during a gearbox overhaul.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and 2, Range Rover Classic.
