This is a steering ball joint assembly with left-hand thread from the Delphi brand.
It connects the steering rods while allowing them to pivot, and is usually replaced when it shows play, the rubber boot is split or the steering feels loose.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender (including Puma), Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic.
