This is the right-hand EGR valve (exhaust gas recirculation), made by SKV. It returns part of the exhaust gases to the intake to reduce emissions. It is usually replaced when it sticks, is clogged with carbon or is faulty, causing loss of power or a warning light.
Compatible with Land Rover Discovery 3 and 4, Range Rover Sport L320 TD6 2.7 Diesel.
