This is a 22 mm diameter welch plug from the Allmakes 4x4 brand.
It closes a casting hole in the engine to keep the coolant sealed inside, and is usually replaced when it is corroded or leaking, or during an engine rebuild.
Compatible with Land Rover Defender (2.5 diesel and turbo diesel) and Series III/Santana (2.5 diesel).
